As you can see from the header tag, my name is Sean. I'm just a humble, charismatic, customer-centric, natural born entrepreneur with a background in hospitality, marketing, digital design, social media management and search engine optimization in search of new employment in a place where I can. With over a decade of professional working experience in the digital marketing industry and another decade in the service industry, I believe culture is everything. It breeds great service. It creates longevity and it's the special sauce that separates those who win from those who lose. I was raised by hard working parents in the restaurant and grocery industries that ingrained into me a few major characteristics that have made me who I am. 

• Nobody is too big or too small for any job
• The bigger a problem may seem, the bigger of an opportunity it presents.
• Even when the customer is wrong, they are still right so do whatever it takes to help them go home with a smile.
• Never stop learning and developing new skills

If I were to summarize who I am as a professional into one book, it would definitely be The Thank You Economy by Gary Vaynerchuk. If you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend you give it a read or a listen via Audible.com. My father taught me from an early age that nothing is more important than your customer leaving with a smile that comes from providing the best quality service possible while going over the edge in effort to exceed customer expectations. Gary does a great job of showing how this mentality is timeless.

When I'm not working I'm in the gym, playing hockey, hiking, snowboarding, cooking, pushing a BOB up a hill, building pillow forts or pretending I'm a Ninja Turtle with a 3 year old.

2016 was my year to learn guitar and 2017 is my year to learn the basics of Python and Mandarin. Will I be adding Ruby to my list?
